Stay with an Ecuadorian Family
Stay with an Ecuadorian family to experience full cultural immersion during your studies in the Apu Inty Spanish Program. By sharing the home of an Ecuadorian family, students have a valuable insight into the life and culture of our country. They not only learn how we speak, but also how we think.
Our host families meet the needs of our students. Students can request special arrangements, such as to be placed with a non-smoking or pet-free family, and can have special diets prepared for them. Please include your family preferences on your application and we will assign an appropriate family to you.
All students have a single furnished room, full board and weekly laundry service. The maximum distance between the host family and the school is 20 minutes, either walking or by bus.

Hostel Stay
Stay in a beautiful, colonial-style hostel within a short walk to the school and in the main tourist area of Quito.The Huauki Hostel is located in the central Mariscal area of Quito. The house was built in 1940 and has been declared a National Historic site by the City of Quito.
In October, 2005 it was restored by an Ecuadorian Artist and a Japanese Photographer, who both have experience in travel and tourism. Huauki means brother in Quichua, the indigenous language of Ecuador. We would like to make guests feel at home away from home.
The hostel is conveniently located in the center of the new town, and is near to the best restaurants, museums, bars, travel agencies and shops. This area of the Mariscal, however, is located in a quiet area to provide guest with a calm and safe environment. Inside the hostel you will find a unique Japanese-style restaurant whose comfortable furnishings offer a youthful environment, with reasonable prices.

Stay in a furnished apartment, at a short walking distance from the school and the commercial area of Quito. The apartments are located in a safe neighborhood, close to the city's main bus lines and other public transportation. All apartments have a private bathroom and are fully furnished.
